Leadership Development Programs

Leaders In Training Program (LIT) – 14 years old by December 31st. A great way to prepare for the transition from grade eight to high school!

These two-week sessions are designed for youth who want to develop leadership skills through group initiatives and hands on activities. The goal is to have participants know themselves better, be more confident with peers, and practice their growing leadership skills in a supportive environment. Participants also participate in Camp Programs and do a practicum placement in a program area. Maximum 10 participants per session. LIT campers are given 20 high school volunteer hours for their time assisting in program.

    LIT 4: August 12 - August 23

Counsellor-In-Training Program (CIT) – 15 years old by December 31st

This intensive four-week course covers everything you need to know to be a counselor: leadership development, characteristics of campers and behaviour management. A two week practicum assisting in a camper group is part of the CIT program. CIT campers will receive 40 high school volunteer hours for the time they spend in the practicum portion of the program. Maximum of ten participants per session.
