Orienteering - North, East, South and West. Understand the symbols, parts of a compass and directions that allow you to orient and follow the arrows to successful completion of our course.
Map Reading - What do all those symbols and labels mean on a map? How do you read and understand all the different features? As you cross the stream and go through the woods, as you travel and learn how to read your map, you'll discover everything and more there is to know about maps. Discover interesting facts about trees as you find your way around Willowgrove.
Survival - Who is the wolf and who is the chipmunk? Watch out - disease and the hunter are after you! Understand animal roles in a food chain and how humans interact within their habitat and community. Find the different elements you need to stay alive and maybe you will be one of the animals that survive in your habitat.
Pioneer Ways - How did the pioneers wash their clothes or make their food? Look at the various roles of different people within a pioneer village and see how they have influenced present day. Step back in time, try various jobs and tasks, and see first hand how pioneers survived.
Native Studies - Come and study significant facts about aboriginals. See the influences and contributions they have had on pioneer and present day communities. Take a look at their homes and the stories they left for future generations. Lots of hands on activities and tasks for you to experience life first hand as an aboriginal.
Animals - Animals abound in our barns. Come and discover different characteristics of each animal, how they grow, why they are important to the farmer, along with many other interesting details. Included in this program is a wagon ride through our beautiful woodlot and a chance to play in our hayloft playground.
A Day in the Life of a Farmer - Come to the farm for the day and act as the farmer. Learn how to care for and meet the needs of all the animals. Participate in feeding, gathering eggs, milking the cow and discovering important information that goes into caring for our animals at the farm. (Limited Space - 2 classes per day)

Low Ropes - Activities based on communication, teamwork and co-operation. Come and challenge your students as they work together on completing the various tasks at our low ropes course. Great group building exercises!
Climbing Gym - Challenge yourself at new levels as you try various routes in our climbing facility. Students will encourage and cheer each other along as they all strive to reach their goals. An excellent activity to build self-esteem and team work among your students.
Leadership Day - Participate in low ropes and climbing wall activities. Debrief with your group and discover what qualities make good leaders. Meet with facilitators to participate in activities that help to understand leadership roles and promote group cooperation.
Games and Activities - Students will participate in numerous games and activities that will promote co-operation, teamwork and fair play.
