Parent Information

An outdoor experience. A learning experience. A summer adventure!

As a parent, you want your son or daughter to have a great day camp experience full of fun and adventure. But that’s not where your expectations stop.

You also want your children to learn important life lessons. You want them to gain an appreciation for nature. And perhaps most important of all, you want all this to be presented in a Christian context that nurtures the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth of children.

It’s even better if all this is delivered on a beautiful 100-acre site nestled between Markham and Stouffville that is a unique blend of nature, recreation and traditional farm activities.

Visit just once (free tours available on request) and you will see why thousands of boys and girls have enjoyed our day camp programs since we opened in 1968 – and many have gone to become camp counselors.

Willowgrove is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to offering high value at affordable fees.

A limited amount of financial assistance is available for families that qualify through our Hand in Hand subsidy program. Contact us online or by phone to apply for support or to make a donation to our financial assistance fund.

Miss the farm? During COVID-19, Willowgrove is doing our part to minimize the spread of novel COVID-19 by severely reducing our programming. However, we are excited to offer a brand new Family Camp Rental program that meets Public Health's recommendations and allows for cohorts/families/bubbles to join us on-site. Miss camp? As both Willowgrove Day Camp's and Fraser Lake Camp's summer programs have been suspended for 2020 we will be offering a one-of-a-kind, daily Camp@Home program in order to provide children with a supervised camp community experience this summer. Click the link for details.
