Working at Willowgrove means you will spend your summer outdoors working with a diverse group of children and with an amazing staff team that is equally passionate, creative and energetic as you. Our staff team is one of the things that makes our program so special!

Staff play such an important part in the camp program. When people look back on their camping experience as a camper, they might tell you stories of the great program and activities they got to try, but they will most definitely tell you stories about the amazing staff members that have become the legends of their camp memories.

All of our summer staff complete our interview process and participate in specialize training prior to the start of each summer. They also:

  • Have a genuine interest in helping children
  • Value being active in the wholesome fun and recreation camp can provide
  • Actively build campers sense of self-worth
  • Model the Christian values of loving one another
  • Accept the rich diversity of our community

NOTE: Student camp jobs are exempt from minimum wage laws. However, they are not exempt from a great summer making a difference in campers' lives! This is an experience that will give you life long friends and memories, a great reference, and build your resume for future schooling opportunities and jobs.

Hiring Process

Every summer staff member, both new and returning, must submit an application that is reviewed by the Camp Director. Successful applicants will be contacted for an Interview. For applicants that completed our CIT program, please submit an application for new staff members. For new staff members, a minimum of three references will be contact prior to a job offer.

All Willowgrove staff will be working remotely while the office is closed. While we will not be available to take any calls, we encourage anyone who would like to contact us to do so through email.
