Family Camp at Fraser Lake

 

We are excited to offer our programming, facilities, enthusiastic staff and beautiful property for families to experience adventure, community, and to make memories together at Fraser Lake!

Fraser Lake Family Camp is one of our most anticipated events of the year. You and your family can join us for a week-long, overnight camp adventure that caters to all ages!

Special Interest Activities include special events such as fort building, wagon rides, bannock making, swamp tromping, 12’ jumping tower /slide, and more creative ideas from our fabulous team of counsellors!

Camp Wide Game includes exciting family games. Capture the flag anyone?!

Campfires are a Fraser Lake tradition. A great time for all with lots of fun songs and skits.

Evening Programming can be spending time with one another and reminiscing on summers past while lingering over board games and cards.

Night Watch is offered from 9 - 11 pm every night for parents that would like to take part in the evening programs that might be too late for the younger family members. Fraser Lake staff members are assigned to a group of cabins and are available if children need anything.

 

Family Camp also includes:
Theme days, a Chapel service, an end-of-week Special Event, and other fun surprises!

Application Process

To help facilitate the registration process for our ever-popular Family Camp program, we have implemented an application-based procedure for Family Camp 2024.

Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis and will be reviewed as soon as possible upon receiving them. However, due to the volume of applications we receive during the first few days of opening, please allow up to two weeks for processing.

Application Steps

  1. Complete the online application via the Family Portal linked above. The application only needs to be submitted by one person. All necessary information for other household members will be collected within the application.

    1. Create an account or log in with your existing account.

    2. Select Fraser Lake Family Camp 2024 season.

    3. Select the program type of Full Week or Weekend along with the accommodation preference (shared cabin, private cabin, tent or trailer).

    4. Complete the required Household and Family Detail forms.

    5. Pay a $200 deposit and submit application.

      NOTE: If we are unable to accept your application due to space limitations, the deposit will be refunded in full.

  2. An email with a statement reflecting the deposit will be sent to the email address used to submit the application. If you do not receive this email, please contact our office.

  3. Your application will be processed by a member of our staff team.

  4. A confirmation will be sent to the email used for the application. This confirmation will include the accommodation type, an invoice with program fees for all family members, and instructions on how to pay the remaining balance. If we are unable to accept your application, we will notify you at this point and provide you with a refund for the deposit.

 

Refunds and Cancellations

Applications must be accompanied by a $200 deposit per family; the balance is required by June 1, 2024.

If your plans change, a full refund will be given if notice of cancellation is provided at least one month prior to the start of Family Camp.

Meals at Camp

Three home-style meals and two snacks are prepared each day in our Kitchen at camp. Our menu is designed each summer to provide well balanced meals for families with options for participants with dietary needs.

We try our best to accommodate all dietary needs. For a complete list on what dietary requirements we are able to accommodate, please see our Family Information Package.

In addition to the two snacks, our Tuck Shop is available for families who would like a treat for a small fee.
